I run FE, and Zen powered boats.One of my favorite boats is my Aqua craft rio mini, With its brushless lipo set up i can easy do 35+ MPH and it fits in my back pack and has kick up rudders for creak bashing. Its to fast for pools at WOT.If your into boats the 2 you mentioned are in the Toy relm, much like asking here about a blade MSR.The plastic hull and cheep running gear WILL NOT hold up to high power, The plastic hulls are not rly repairable.Also stay away from any thing pro boat, its junk, plain and simple.
And yes i DO have a proboat shockwave 55. I also have a Pro boat Mis budwieser 1/8 scale, @1,500 duckets later its almost a descent hydro....The new traxis blast lipo looks ok, But is still in the relm of toy.If you want fast, I run a Aeromarine Sprint cat with a 28.5 CC zen, trying to break the mystical 70 MPH barrier...Mini rio picks on the way.EDIT sry bout pick size, not sure why they so large?Aquacraft blows Proboat out with this shot, FULLY sealed eletronics for creak bashing, A MUST in a FE boat.New brushless inrunner.and at last a proboat part, Proboat 26 prop, rudders are auqacraft thunderbolt kick ups, 1.29 each. Antoher must for a creak basher.Search Aquacraft mini rio brushless, its not mine but the same specks, prop and motor. This IS the FASTEST & CHEEPEST way to play with boats. These little boats draw a crowd as fast as they run. Its a hoot racing around a triangle buoy course of fishing bobbers in the marina.....Enjoy.
