- In January 2018, friends and family joined Pirate Cove Resort for our 2nd Annual Poker Run. Over 250 vehicles participated in the Poker Run, with more visito.

And poker run Presented By. 5th Annual Boat Poker Run Our 5th Annual Boat Poker Run will be held Saturday, July 25th, 2020 (Rain Date August 1). A fun day for all involved, this event is not a race, rather an opportunity to enjoy friends, the river, and a chance to win great prizes! We, the undersigned individuals, fully understand that our participation in the Pirate Cove Resort Co-Sponsored with Bert’s Mega Mall Off-Road Poker Run on, exposes us to the risk of injury, death, and/or property damage.
Our annual Jet Ski Poker Run will be held Saturday, August 15th, 2020. A fun day for all involved, this event is not a race, rather an opportunity to enjoy friends, the river, and a chance to win great prizes!
Pirates Cove Poker Run 2020
Participants will depart from Tim’s Rivershore Saturday morning to visit 5 locations on the river, receiving a single playing card at each stop. At the end of the day, the best poker hand wins! Your entry fee of $100 will include a custom t-shirt, freebies, entertainment, door prizes, and three meals.
Breakfast buffet at Tim’s Rivershore and MANDATORY Driver Meeting on Saturday morning at 8:30am. Register in person at our Dumfries location.

Oct. 19 - Nov. 1, Fall Color Boat Trips on Norris Lake. Enjoy the fall colors on a boat ride. 12:30pm and 2:00pm each day. Each boat ride will last approximately one hour and will depart from the Norris Dam Marina. Park Rangers will narrate your trip with tree identification and park history. Limited to only 7 people and masks are required. This trip is $10.00 per adult (6 years and over) and $6.00 per child (5 years and under). To reserve your spot call the park visitor center at 865-425-4500.
